Soft Building Sand

Description

Known as bricklayers’ sand Soft Building Sand is finely graded sand with rounded particles and some clay content. Ideal mix for cement in pointing, paving or brick laying applications.

The finely graded sand is most suitable for making mortars in construction. Due to its incredibly fine nature, it is incredibly easy to work and creates a smooth finish.

It is most commonly used for internal renders, patios, terraces, bedding for pond liner and for joints of crazy paving.

Please note, this is not suitable for children’s play areas. For more uses in the garden, use Sharp Sand which when used in soil allows water to drain through.
