Sharp Sand

Description

Sharp Sand is also sometimes referred to as builders’ sand. It a course sand with a gritty texture, making it ideal for mixing with concrete for construction. It is suitable for a number of applications such as under paving, laying pavement, mixing with garden soil and under block paving.

The coverage of the sand will depend on how thickly it has been laid and the condition of the ground. Please note, this is not suitable for children’s play areas. For use in mortar, use Soft Building Sand for a smooth finish and an easy to work mortar.
