Description

The Monarfloor Trideck is a resilient overlay platform direct-to-joist floor system designed to help reduce sound transmission in situations where the existing timber floor will be removed and work on the ceiling below is restricted. It has a coverage of 1.44m2.

The Monarfloor Trideck consists of a 5mm layer of foam rubber bonded to an 8mm layer of LRAC foam type I. This combination is then attached to 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard, creating a resilient overlay shallow platform floor for timber frame dwellings.

By incorporating the Monarfloor Trideck as part of a complete sound reduction system, it enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Part E. It offers an effective solution for improving sound insulation in residential and commercial buildings.
