Description

The MF6A Plasterboard Ceiling Perimeter is a galvanised steel product for use with the metal ceiling system. The MF6A Ceiling Perimeter provides support for the MF5 Ceiling Section. The MF Suspended System plaster board ceilings are ideal for commercial and domestic applications.

MF ceiling height may be adjusted to accommodate ducting or other services whilst still providing sound insulation and fire protection. MF Plasterboard ceiling perimeter provides high performance and are known to be adopted for direct decoration and textured finish. It is a non-load bearing yet high performance and cost-effective component that is fixed directly to the wall and supports the MF7 and MF5.

It is generally used within commercial and domestic applications and has been manufactured to British Standards BS 7364 and EN 14195. Mineral wool can also be incorporated for thermal or acoustic insulation. Its acoustic performances can be improved by using Acoustic Hangers. MF ceiling creates a seamless surface suitable to receive most decorative finishes. It can be directly decorated or it can have a textured finish.
