Cement is an incredibly useful binding material in the building industry.
We stock both Portland cement and Mastercrete cement, both of which have specific useful components to them that make them ideal for various purposes.
Portland cement is the most common type of cement as a basic ingredient of concrete, grout and mortar. Portland cement is not so much a brand name as much as it is a general term used to describe cement that’s widely used across the industry.
Mastercrete cement contains special additives which allow for enhanced performance. It is resistant to freezing and cracking, while also retaining a cement colour that’s lighter than ready-made cement.
Cement is commonly used in the construction of pavements, but some other functions of cement include:
- Roads
- Bridges
- Lintels
- Joints in drains and pipes
- Culverts
- Watertight floors
Some of the benefits of cement include how versatile it is, and how little maintenance is required. We are happy to offer very competitive cement prices, and we offer discounts on large quantity orders.
Please be advised that due to the nature of the product, once delivered or collected, we cannot accept any cement bag back.
